Your content is private by default

Your .trl content is yours. TropeLang.com and the editor do not read it, transmit it to our servers, or use it to train anything. The analysis you see — parsing, recognition, validation — runs locally in your browser. We stay out of the data.

What we store

• Free tier. Your work is saved in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device; we don't receive it.
• Pro tier. If you enable Google Drive persistence, documents are stored in your Google Drive under permissions you grant; we access only what's needed to open and save your files.

Bring-your-own-LLM

AI assistance is opt-in and bring-your-own: you supply and provision the model and its API key, and requests go directly to the provider you choose. We don't proxy your content through our servers or run any model over it on your behalf. (Exactly how a key you enter is held in the client will be detailed here.)

Sharing & real-time collaboration

What is transmitted when you share a document or join a multiplayer session, and who can see it, will be described here.
